About the Role
Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality age-appropriate nursing care to patients that is consistent with organizational philosophy, goals, and policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-risk labor and delivery nursing care
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years high-risk labor and delivery experience
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License
- BLS certification required
- Fetal Monitoring Certification within 6 months of hire
- NRP certification upon completion of orientation
Working Conditions
- Significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity required
- Significant occupational risk
- Very heavy physical effort; may exert up to 50 lbs. of force
- Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste
Pay
$48.49 - $73.58 per hour
