Registered Nurse - Mother Baby - Nights - Per Diem

Role Overview Provides professional nursing care in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan, evaluate, and document care. Delegates appropriate tasks to staff and collaborates as part of a healthcare team to meet unit goals. Key Responsibilities Assess patient status, monitor progress, and record observations.Ensure safe and effective care delivery, adhering to professional standards.Participate in team efforts to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if holding an Associate Degree.Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification.ACLS certification within six months.Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months.Preferred: 2+ years of Mother Baby RN experience.
