Registered Nurse - Per Diem / PRN

About the role

Registered Nurse providing patient care using the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care
• Evaluate care quality
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Adhere to organizational standards and values

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Current RN license valid in the state or via compact licensure
• Recent bedside RN experience: 1 year for Med Surg, 2 years for specialty areas like ED or ICU
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS for critical/emergency care
• Physical demands: lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and mobility tasks

Skills

• Flexibility in scheduling, ability to work various shifts
• Strong clinical skills
• Adaptability to last-minute changes
• Epic experience preferred
