Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Nights

Position Overview The Staff Nurse provides safe, compassionate care to neonatal patients in a Level 2E Special Care Nursery. They collaborate with healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes and continuity of care. Key Responsibilities Deliver nursing care for neonatal patients, primarily in NICU Level 3 settings.Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to develop and execute patient care plans.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards of neonatal care.Participate in patient assessments, documentation, and communication with families. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred if Associate is held.High preferred 2 years of NICU Level 3 RN experience.Current Illinois RN licensure and BLS certification through American Heart Association.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within six months of start. Additional Details Night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.Per diem schedule with 32-72 hours every six weeks.Competitive hourly pay rate, adjusted based on experience.
