Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Nights

Role: RN in the Medical Pulmonary Unit, responsible for providing comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health data in collaboration with families and healthcare providers.Develop and coordinate individualized care plans ensuring safe, timely, and appropriate interventions.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members through various channels.Deliver tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessments.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate and enhance nursing practice.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current nursing license in Illinois.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Additional Details: The role involves night shifts (7:00pm - 7:30am), with a per diem level 1 requirement of working at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, including weekends if needed.
