Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Nights

Role Overview: This position is for an RN in a Cardiac Renal Unit, responsible for patient assessment, care planning, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and collect relevant health data.Coordinate and implement individualized care plans ensuring safety, timeliness, and appropriateness of interventions.Communicate clearly in person, via phone, and in writing with all healthcare stakeholders.Provide tailored patient and family education based on comprehensive assessments.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate and enhance nursing practice.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Active nursing license in Illinois.Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
