Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Float Pool

About the role

Inpatient Registered Nurse in the Central Region Float Pool. The role involves working primarily in clinical environments, with a focus on safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Performing assessments and addressing patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Developing and coordinating individualized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.
• Providing direct patient care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and participating in evidence-based practice decision-making.
• Contributing to quality and safety initiatives and actively participating in team activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent bedside experience, including float or travel nursing.
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts.
• Experience working at multiple hospital locations within the organization.
• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program.
