Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Float Pool

About the role

The Inpatient Registered Nurse Per Diem in the Central Region Float Pool provides direct patient care, conducts assessments, and develops individualized care plans addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, coordinate discharge planning, and evaluate nursing interventions for effectiveness. Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and formulate care plans.
• Deliver treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to meet patient needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
• Engage in quality, safety, and departmental improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of bedside experience, including float or travel nursing.
• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program.
• Ability to work day/night rotations and across multiple hospital locations.
