Role Overview
An Inpatient Registered Nurse in the Central Region Float Pool provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures according to policies.
- Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses.
- Coordinate with physicians, ancillary staff, and other team members to address patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence‑based practice decision‑making.
- Engage in quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to unit and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of recent bedside experience, preferably with float or travel nursing assignments.
- Graduate from a specialty training program.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Schedule
Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and adapt to multiple hospital locations.
