Registered Nurse - Per Diem Float Pool

About the role

Inpatient Registered Nurse in a Per Diem float pool, providing direct patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Formulate, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies per policies.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to resolve patient needs proactively.
• Manage equipment troubleshooting and participate in evidence‑based practice decisions.
• Engage in quality, safety, and unit‑based improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of recent bedside experience, preferably with float or travel nursing.
• Ability to work day/night rotations and rotate among multiple hospital locations.
• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program.
• Strong collaboration, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
