About the role

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center® is a 336-bed facility part of the Valley Health System serving Northwest Las Vegas. The hospital provides a wide range of medical services including comprehensive women's services, with maternity services that include labor and delivery, recovery rooms, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS. Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
