About the role

The Valley Health System (VHS), comprising six hospitals in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, seeks exceptional professionals who align with their vision and values. Responsibilities

Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversee and guide employees under your supervision. Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
  • Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), PALS Certification (pediatric patients), or NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
  • Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
