Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Role Overview

Provides patient care using the nursing process, ensuring professionalism, patient rights, and confidentiality. Coordinates with departments to deliver effective care, evaluates caregiver performance, and aligns with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside nursing in various departments including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health.
• Maintain licensure, obtain required certifications, and adhere to physical demands such as lifting and prolonged standing.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with options for day or night shifts, and working across multiple facilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN licensure with current state or compact license.
• Minimum one year bedside RN experience for Med Surg, two years for specialty areas; Epic experience preferred.
• Certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS as applicable.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
