Registered Nurse - Pediatric Dialysis Pheresis, Part Time

About the role

Provides direct patient care for pediatric dialysis patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans that address physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs. Ensures communication across care continuum and maintains a safe environment through critical nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient needs, develop care plans, and document interventions
• Educate patients and families on managing treatment and home care
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities
• Ensure safety and compliance with healthcare standards

Qualifications

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor’s preferred
• 1-2 years of RN experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism
