Registered Nurse - Pediatric Behavioral Health

About the role

Crittenton Children's Center, the Kansas City area’s premier provider of psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and their families, is seeking a full‑time Day shift Registered Nurse. Located on a 96‑acre campus near Longview Lake, the center offers a serene environment that supports healing. Backed by Saint Luke’s Health System, the facility delivers a comprehensive behavioral health care program with a legacy of over 100 years serving Kansas City’s children and families.

Responsibilities

• Function independently and be accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinate care for a group of patients with the multidisciplinary team.
• Delegate tasks appropriately.
• Identify and utilize hospital resources.
• Serve as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrate positive formal or informal leadership within the unit or department.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in mental health.
• Mandt Certified – Various; Registered Nurse – Various.
• Must be team‑oriented.
