Registered Nurse- Pediatric Behavioral Health

Crittenton Children's Center is the Kansas City area's premier provider of psychiatric care for children, adolescents and their families. Located on a 96-acre campus in south Kansas City near Longview Lake, the facility offers serenity, beauty and privacy to support the healing process. With over 100 years of experience, Crittenton provides comprehensive behavioral health care programs and is supported by the resources of Saint Luke's Health System.

Responsibilities

• Functions independently and is accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinates care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
• Delegates tasks appropriately.
• Identifies hospital resources.
• Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within the unit or department.

Requirements

• Associate degree; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in mental health.
• Must be team-oriented.

Schedule

Two 12-hour night shifts, 09:30–22:00.
