About the Role
Provide advanced patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a complex clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing safety, quality, and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Precept and mentor new healthcare staff, fostering professional growth.
- Support specialty education and competency validation through clinical educators.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, including BLS and ACLS certifications.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure.
- Minimum 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through recognized organizations.
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to professional development.
