About the role

The Supervisor, Nursing and Patient Care Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility during their shift, ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and staff efficiency. This position serves as the primary liaison between departments, providing leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers. The Supervisor is also tasked with coordinating patient flow, managing staffing levels, responding to emergencies, and addressing any operational issues that may arise throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility during their shift.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care, safety, and staff efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between departments, providing leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
  • Carefully coordinate patient flow, manage staffing levels, respond to emergencies, and address any operational issues that may arise throughout their shift.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required)
  • OrMSN (Preferred)
  • Registered nursing license (Required)
  • BLS required within 90 days of hire
  • ACLS required within 90 days of hire
  • PALS required within 90 days of hire
  • 2 Years of acute care RN experience(required)
  • 1 Year of Nursing leadership experience (required)
