Registered Nurse - Part Time with Benefits - Weekends
Outpatient Diagnostic Centers of Alabama is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our patient-focused team. This role supports CT and MRI contrast examinations through live, two-way audio/video collaboration with a supervising radiologist, serving as the clinical link between the patient, technologist, and remote radiologist.
About the role
This is a patient-safety–focused nursing position where the onsite RN assesses patients, coordinates encounters, documents care, and responds to adverse events. The radiologist participates in real time while the imaging technologist performs modality-specific duties.
- Medication and medical-supply quality control, including daily emergency-equipment readiness checks and staff support/training.
- Incident-report follow-up and patient follow-up when assigned.
- Assistance with IV access, patient evaluation outside contrast-related care, CT/MRI pre-screening, patient movement, and efficient throughput.
- Communication of critical results, acceptance of verbal orders, or schedule review when trained and permitted by policy and applicable scope-of-practice requirements.
- Support for emergency drills, CPR/BLS readiness, and nursing assistance across ODCAL locations and communication channels when assigned.
Schedule
- Part-time: Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am–5:00pm

- Competitive base pay with shift differential for Saturday and Sunday shifts

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Must meet state licensure requirements for the state of practice
- BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
