Registered Nurse Part-Time Weekend
About the role
The role involves performing nursing functions to support and enhance the medical role in the treatment of consumers for withdrawal management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and document the physical and behavioral status of the consumer.
- Consult with physicians or nurse practitioners as needed.
- Provide necessary clinical information to managed care organizations for obtaining authorizations in a timely manner.
- Document services provided in a clear, timely, and personalized manner.
- Ensure documentation complies with NET, CARF, and licensing standards.
- Show knowledge of ASAM, Subutex protocols, withdrawal management, blood alcohol content, accucheck, pregnancy testing, and medication management.
Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of PA (or DE) and have knowledge of medical and clinical requirements related to substance use and behavioral healthcare.
- At least three years of experience in a clinical capacity.
- Must be computer competent and proficient.
- Must complete American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) level of care certification within 45 days of hire.
