Registered Nurse - Part Time - Days

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. The RN will conduct holistic assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions while prioritizing safety and culturally sensitive, age-specific care.

Responsibilities

• Performing assessments, recognizing abnormal data, and communicating findings effectively.
• Establishing and updating care plans collaboratively with patients and families, utilizing SBAR and handoff processes.
• Providing individualized education, responding to emergencies, and ensuring infection control.
• Continuously evaluating care outcomes and adjusting plans to meet patient needs.
• Accurately documenting nursing actions and patient responses in electronic records.
• Demonstrating leadership through mentoring, participating in performance improvement activities, and supporting professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification prior to patient contact; ACLS within six months if in ICU or step-down units.
• BSN required within five years of hire for nurses hired after January 2010.
• Knowledge of culturally competent care, effective communication, and adaptability to change.
