Registered Nurse Part Time
About the role
Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and engaged Registered Nurse-Part Time to join our dynamic Prescott Valley team. The position is part-time, working 20 hours a week with occasional Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Works with Clinical Supervisor to ensure the unit meets standards.
- Performs injections, draws blood, and sends samples to the lab.
- Performs initial and annual assessments.
- Administers methadone on Saturdays, at least every 4 weeks and as needed.
- Ensures medications are available for service participants as needed.
- Completes charting and record keeping per SBH/ADHS standards.
- Participates in clinical case staffing and assists with PCP coordination.
- Affords therapeutic interactions and activities.
- Ensures compliance and adequate services.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the State of Arizona.
- One year of behavioral health and/or healthcare nursing experience.
- Fingerprint clearance issued by AZ Department of Public Safety OR eligibility to receive within eight weeks of hire.
- Valid AZ driver’s license and motor vehicle clearance.
