Registered Nurse - Part Time

About the Role

The Registered Nurse practices independently within a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care while demonstrating awareness of various situational factors. They delegate tasks appropriately to manage clinical situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to deliver patient care.
• Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor effects, and document all care activities.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing; minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Must hold an active RN license and BLS certification.
• If applicable, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• Newly hired nurses undergo orientation and competency validation, with ongoing annual requirements.
• Experience in acute care and specialized certifications within designated grace periods are preferred.
