Registered Nurse - Part Time

About the Role

A competent nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in alignment with professional standards and organizational competencies.

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient care using the nursing process, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administering medications and treatments as per protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assessing learning needs and educating patients, families, and caregivers.
• Making appropriate care assignments and delegations to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Completion of onboarding, orientation, and competency validations.
• All nurses must obtain necessary certifications within specified grace periods.
• Experience in acute care settings enhances eligibility.

Schedule

Part-time work with scheduled shifts from 7PM to 7AM.
