Registered Nurse - Part-Time

About the Role

The Preop Recovery Nurse provides nursing care in an Ambulatory Surgical Center, ensuring patient safety and well-being throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients, including recording medical histories, symptoms, and vitals
• Update patient charts and electronic health records (EHR)
• Perform medical tasks such as blood tests and administering injections
• Administer medications and follow treatment plans as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members including nurses, doctors, and administrators
• Assess and manage patients in various surgical recovery stages
• Maintain compliance with nursing regulations and standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN license
• CPR and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of one year experience in surgical patient care (pre-, intra-, and post-operative)
