The Day Surgery RN role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the Day Surgery Unit and preoperative holding area.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments across diverse patient populations.
• Manage pain and develop individualized care plans based on physician orders.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Respond swiftly to clinical changes in patient condition.
• Ensure patient dignity and cultural needs are respected.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain professional interaction.

Requirements

• Current Nevada RN licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
