About the role

The Palliative Medicine Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive care for adult patients with chronic or life-limiting illnesses, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in both ambulatory and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care
• Patient and family education
• Care planning, assessment, and care coordination
• Support nursing practice across settings
• Demonstrate leadership through mentorship, quality improvement, and delegation based on skill, patient acuity, and resources

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum one year of RN experience
• BSN preferred
• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Valid state licensure, certification, and compliance with licensing standards
