About the Role

CoxHealth is a leading healthcare system serving 25 counties across southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas. The organization includes six hospitals, five ERs, and over 80 clinics.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates plans, implements, and documents nursing care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local procedures.
• Maintains hemodynamic and neurological stability for patients in the PACU.
• Maintains a patent airway for patients in the PACU.
• Administers diligent care via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment due to the possibility of rapid changes in a patient’s physiological condition.

Requirements

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Previous nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri.
• Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days.
• Required: Must obtain PALS within one year of hire.
• Required: Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire.
