Registered Nurse PACU PRN

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse PACU at Community Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position offers an opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and compassionate team.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Hospital.
• Assists the anesthesiologist and surgeon with patient-related care activities.
• Maintains knowledge of medications, equipment, expected patient outcomes during surgery and anticipated complications.
• Collaborates with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team to manage and deliver patient care.
• Works as a team member within the entire facility.
• Safeguards and advances the patient's best interest.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma required.
• Minimum of one year experience in PACU or acute care preferred.
• AHA BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire, if not currently certified.
• AHA ACLS required within 120 days of hire if not currently certified.
• AHA PALS required within 120 days of hire if not currently certified.
