Registered Nurse PACU

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate post-anesthesia care for surgical patients.
• Assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Manage airways, pain, and hemodynamics.
• Administer IV medications and respond quickly to patient condition changes.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative teams.
• Document patient information in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards in a team-focused environment.
