Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care for surgical patients
- Assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia
- Manage pain and sedation effectively
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Follow evidence-based protocols and ensure accurate documentation
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care
- Support a culture of compassion, safety, and continuous learning
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse licensure
- Experience in post-anesthesia or PACU nursing preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to respond quickly to patient needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
