Registered Nurse - PACU

About the role

Provide immediate post-operative care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities

• Monitor airway, neurological, and cardiac status of surgical patients.
• Manage wound care and respond promptly to any complications.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient recovery.
• Assess, document, and communicate patient condition accurately.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care tailored to patient needs.
• Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans and follow-up procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills.
• Knowledge of post-operative patient care and complication management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to educate and support patients and families effectively.
