Registered Nurse - PACU 1 - Full Time - 11am-11:30pm Monday thru Friday and Rotating weekends & on-call

GENERAL SUMMARY

Use independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients.

Within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice, demonstrates clinical competence; compassion and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes; and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

• 11am - 11:30pm Monday thru Friday and rotational weekend

• Location: Grand Blanc, Michigan

Schedule

• Full-time 7am – 7:30pm Monday thru Friday & every 3rd weekend

Sign On Bonus

Compensation

• 5% Market Pay Differential
• Increased Night Shift Premium - 10%
• $2 Weekend Differential

Qualifications

• Competent in basic nursing procedures - dressing change, catheterization, NG tube insertion, suctioning.
• Knowledge of medical interventions and clinical practice guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Experience in a PACU setting preferred.

Skills

• Skilled in applying pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches to ensure patient comfort and relief of pain.
• Proficient in administering medications, IVs, blood products, and performing blood capillary glucose monitoring.
• Capable of preparing patients for surgery and assisting with procedures.
• Experienced in monitoring patient responses and responding to changing patient situations.
• Skilled in providing patient education and discharge planning.
