About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for delivering specialized infusion and vascular access care. This role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients receiving infusion therapies.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized vascular access and infusion care in a supportive environment
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatment to patients across their care journey
- Support patients through individualized infusion treatments
- Build lasting patient relationships in a setting that allows for continuity of care
- Expand infusion and specialty nursing expertise in a supportive environment
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Preferred: Oncology or Infusion experience
