Registered Nurse Outpatient Infusion PRN

Responsibilities

• Care for patients holistically—addressing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs
• Partner closely with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical technology, and strong nursing fundamentals in a structured outpatient setting
• Collaborate across disciplines, working alongside providers and support staff to create seamless care transitions, patient education, and follow-up planning
• Evaluate outcomes, adapt care plans, and prioritize both clinical results and patient satisfaction
• Practice with professionalism and integrity, supported by strong ethical standards, regulatory compliance, and a culture of accountability
• Grow and lead, contributing to the development of others while advancing the nursing profession through collaboration, mentorship, and shared best practices

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
• Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
• Preferred qualifications include oncology or infusion experience

Skills

• Ability to see and read information, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
• Verbal communication skills to interact with patient care providers, patients, and visitors
• Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
• Physical ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients, push/pull gurneys and portable equipment, navigate crowded and busy rooms, and drive a vehicle
