Registered Nurse (Outpatient Infusion) - Full Time (Day Shift)

About the Role
Outpatient Infusion (OPI) at the Penn Princeton Cancer Center serves adult Oncology and Non-oncology patients requiring infusion and/or transfusion treatment and support. We are a close-knit, interdisciplinary department focused on providing compassionate, highly-skilled and competent care to our patients to instill confidence and comfort across the continuum of care. We pride ourselves on the level of care provided and the relationships formed with our patients, drawing on their strength, resiliency and hope.
Schedule
Option of five, 8-hour days or four 10-hour days to equal 40 hours/week.
- If 8-hour days, the shift is 8am-4:30pm
- If 10-hour days, the shift is 7am-5:30pm
No weekends or holidays.
Responsibilities
- Strong IV and central line skills – implanted ports and PICC lines; accessing and maintaining
- Previous oncology experience and/or experience with hazardous drugs
- Strong multi-system assessment skills and symptom management
- Critical thinking
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Greater than 15 months of professional nursing experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Active NJ RN license required
- Chemo-Biotherapy Certification within 6 months of hire
- Oncology Nurse Certification within 2 years of hire

Pay
Salary Range: $49.96 - $68.99/Hourly. As part of their job offer, successful candidates are provided a specific rate, taking into consideration various factors including experience and education.
