Registered Nurse - Outpatient Infusion

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, ensuring physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs are met. They assess, evaluate, and assist with patient examinations, treatments, and basic medical procedures under provider supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications following organizational standards and policies.
• Auxiliary in emergency situations as directed by a provider.
• Inform patients and families about diagnoses and procedures.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Manage and supervise care provided by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers as appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong planning, organization, and delegation skills.
• Basic computer proficiency; EMR experience preferred.
