About the role
The Registered Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse range of patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collects comprehensive data for patient assessment and develops a personalized care plan.
- Coordinates patient care across various departments and supports the transition to home.
- Administers medications accurately and documents care using electronic systems.
- Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans as necessary.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Adapts to new technologies and continuously improves nursing practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license and BLS/CPR certification.
- At least six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Strong focus on teamwork, ongoing education, and patient-centered care.
- National Certification in a relevant specialty preferred.

Pay
