Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Unit - Nights

About the role

A registered nurse in the Orthopedic Unit with night shifts is needed to provide patient assessment, coordinate care plans, and ensure safe, timely interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans to ensure quality and safety.
• Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Educate patients and families based on thorough assessments to meet their specific needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current nursing license in Illinois.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
