About the role
The registered nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care on a 41-bed NT4 Ortho-Urology Surgical Unit, specializing in acute orthopedic and urology patients, including trauma cases and postoperative recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial assessments
- Developing and modifying care plans
- Administering treatments
- Managing wound appliances
- Educating patients on mobility, medication, and self-care
Qualifications
- An active RN license
- BLS certification
- An associate's degree or higher
- Relevant skills in wound care, traction setup, and patient mobility devices
