Role: Registered Nurse in the Orthopedic Unit, responsible for patient assessment, care coordination, and communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and providers.Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care, ensuring interventions are safe, timely, and effective.Communicate clearly in person, via phone, and in writing with all care stakeholders.Provide tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessments.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications And Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois nursing license.CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
