About the role

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in orthopedic spine departments, collaborating with medical providers and other members of the care team.

Responsibilities

  • Affirms patient condition during admission and shifts, identifying and reporting changes.
  • Ensures patient environment safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Regularly assesses and manages patient pain.
  • Serves as an exemplar of professional nursing practice and promotes organizational pride.
  • Advocates for patient- and family-centered care in all decisions and actions.
  • Participates in professional practice activities and advocates for shared governance.
  • Grows professionally through learning and utilizing new evidence-based knowledge for process improvement.
  • Impacts organizational growth by enhancing patient experience and providing high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse diploma.
  • No travel required.
  • No prior experience required.
