About the role
The Registered Nurse or LPN will demonstrate proficiency in nursing fundamentals, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and evaluating patient care. They will supervise nonprofessional staff and provide instruction as needed.
Responsibilities
- Adhering to policies and procedures to support nursing standards
- Participating in unit and patient care conferences
- Documenting comprehensive nursing histories, vital signs, and abnormal data
- Using assessment information to formulate and communicate effective care plans involving patients and families
- Ensuring safe, therapeutic care and evaluating patient responses
- Accepting accountability for clinical care and supervising staff
- Committing to professional growth through ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Current nursing license in the state
- Minimum six months of recent professional nursing experience
- Proficiency in at least 50% of Level II skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and supervisory skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
