About the role
Provides patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes. Practices in accordance with physician orders, hospital policies, Illinois Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and ethics. Revises care plans as needed.

Requirements
- Successful completion of an Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- ASN holders hired after May 1, 2014, must obtain a BSN within three years.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
