About the role
Join our healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in perioperative and surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative services.
- Assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Protect patients from injury, manage specimens, administer medications, and maintain surgical site safety.
- Communicate with care teams, educate patients and families, and respect patient rights and privacy.
- Document care accurately, collaborate across disciplines, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Delegate tasks per state Nurse Practice Act, maintain competencies, and engage in professional growth.
- Act as a patient advocate and be available for rotated callback with prompt facility arrival.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (or within 6 months), and PALS (or within 6 months).
Qualifications
- Preferred: perioperative experience, Bachelor's degree, CNOR certification, and basic computer skills.
