Registered Nurse - OR/ASC

About the Role

Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Preoperative/Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) focused on providing safe, patient-centered care for pediatric and adult patients undergoing same-day surgical procedures. Specialties served include Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and Otolaryngology (ENT).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full patient experience from preoperative preparation through recovery and discharge.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide age-appropriate care and serve as a resource for patients and families.
• Ensure smooth perioperative processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RN Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing.
• Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State RN licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $37.15 to $57.58 per hour based on experience.
