Overview

This position is also referral eligible. We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. Are you an upcoming nurse graduate or recent nurse graduate? Responsibilities

  • Prepares patients for procedures
  • Aids during retinal procedures
  • Maintains patient safety
  • Obtains Prior Authorizations / Appeals
  • Provides education on treatment plans and post-procedure care
  • Administers medications
  • Maintains accurate documentation
  • Ensures compliance with infection prevention and safety standards
  • Collaborates with physicians and clinic staff to support efficient workflow and deliver an exceptional patient experience
  • Floates as needed across clinic areas
  • Assists with general Ambulatory Clinic needs
  • Supports communication workflows such as message pools

Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

This is a full-time, day shift position M-F 8-4:30pm.
