Registered Nurse Operations Leader
About the role
The Hospital Operations Leader coordinates and supervises hospital personnel, working 24/7. On weekdays, they collaborate with the leadership team for optimal care environments. During off-hours, they serve as the Administrative representative, ensuring continuity of leadership and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conducts campus-wide rounds and resolves patient and visitor concerns, leading emergency management.
- Provides consultation and leadership when collaborating across disciplines and with external partners.
- Maintains frequent communication with internal departments to ensure smooth throughput and reduce barriers.
- Determines optimal staffing complements for efficient patient flow and patient safety.
- Supports organizational goals by enhancing patient experiences, ensuring clear communication, and participating in performance improvement efforts.
- Solves problems and makes decisions with input from administrative leaders and the administrator on-call.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Bachelor's degree required.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey or Nurse Licensure Compact.
- BLSHCP required; ACLS required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- 3-5 years of nursing experience required, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; training provided.
