About the role

The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, high-quality patient care within a collaborative healthcare team. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatments, ensuring safety and adherence to standards. The nurse acts as a liaison between patients, families, and providers, advocating for patient needs and promoting satisfaction. They participate in performance improvement initiatives, maintain professional competence, and support shared governance activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, and deliver safe, effective care with proper documentation.
• Respond to patient concerns, serve as an educational resource, and communicate pertinent information to families and staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and process enhancements to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and pursue professional growth through training and involvement in professional organizations.
• Mentor and support colleagues, foster a positive work environment, and uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree
• Valid nursing license (RN) with multi-state or single-state certification
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS (or equivalent), and instructor certifications if applicable
