About the Role
This role provides direct clinical patient care. You will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. The role includes supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. You will support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and effective resource management related to patient care.
You will serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing, demonstrating effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct clinical patient care on a per-shift basis.
- Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care responsibilities.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care in alignment with organizational standards.
- Support the CNO in managing resources, competency of clinical staff, and patient care delivery.
- Act as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
Requirements
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school (bachelor's or master's degree preferred).
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice nursing as required by law or regulation in the state of practice.
- CPR certification.
Benefits
- Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus based on eligibility.
Pay
$34.37 - $70.88 per hour. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening, including a drug screen.
